Living Lyrics

First day of school and I am nervous that I will never settle
into this new place I live where it's hard to make new friends,
I think Ill settle for that girl right there.

I could keep searching but this could work,
She seems troubled, lonely, cold, and hurt,
Like her family abandoned her. She's just like me.

We both are shoulder's to each other.
Prop me up and hold me there as long as you can.
I'll pick you up when were together.
But I expect the same from you.

She talks a lot though it makes me see the
good in expression through means of release
and how to effectively B.S. your way through anything.

I know we come from two different worlds,
and it's hard to grasp the fact that we support each other when
theres no solid ground for us to build from.

We both are shoulder's to each other.
Prop me up and hold me there as long as you can.
I'll pick you up when were together.
But I expect the same from you.

I've got these friends and Ive got this music that
helps me get through each and every day.
If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't want to live,
I'd surrender to my bed and hope that no one would show.

But something's missing.
But something's missing.

It's been six days since I've seen his face,
I can only hope that we pass in the halls.
For now I'll wait, hope and pray that one day he'll notice me,
and like me for the person inside.
